Deep Dish—Ali ‘Dubfire’ Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi—unveil their first original release in more than ten years with ‘Midnight’, a collaboration with UK melodic trio Eynka and American singer-songwriter Wrabel. Out now via Armada Music, the track marks a bold new chapter in the duo’s storied career, blending their progressive roots with emotive, modern production.

“Since reuniting in 2024, we’ve been deep in the studio crafting music to test at shows and guide the evolution of Deep Dish,” the duo shares. “The reaction to ‘Midnight’ during our sets has been incredible, and now feels like the right time to share it with the world.”

Featuring Wrabel’s soaring vocal performance, cinematic synths, and piano-driven melodies, ‘Midnight’ showcases Deep Dish’s signature depth while pushing their sound into new territory. The release follows their recent ‘The Future’ tour, which included headline performances at Club Space Miami, The Cause in London, and a marathon all-night-long set at fabric.

In parallel, Deep Dish has also been working closely with Armada to re-release their seminal ‘George Is On’ LP and unveil updated versions of iconic tracks like ‘Flashdance’ and ‘Say Hello’.

“This track marks the beginning of a brand-new chapter,” the duo affirms. “It feels incredible to be back.”

Echonomist and Jenia Tarsol have announced the launch of Flying Hearts, a new electronic music label focused on emotional storytelling, genre fusion, and creative freedom. The label’s inaugural release, ‘The Harbour’, is out now and sees the two founders team up with UK band Throws to reimagine one of the group’s 2016 album tracks.

A continuation of the pair’s previous collaborations—including 2021’s ‘The Happiest of All Memorial Days’—‘The Harbour’ encapsulates the label’s ethos of timeless yet modern music with memory and intention at its core. The rework blends melodic textures, atmospheric elements, and a sense of emotional depth that sets the tone for Flying Hearts’ sonic direction.

Flying Hearts aims to be more than just a label. Each release will be paired with an artist portrait that captures the connection behind the music. For the debut, the visual features a spontaneous hug between Echonomist and Jenia Tarsol the first time they met—an image that now serves as a symbol of the label’s commitment to authenticity and shared experience.

Renowned novelist Irvine Welsh steps onto the dancefloor with the release of his debut album, ‘Men in Love’, out July 24th, 2025, in collaboration with The Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra.

Coinciding with the launch of his new novel of the same name — a direct sequel to his iconic Trainspotting — the album marks Welsh’s first foray into music and serves as a sonic extension of his latest literary project.

Blending classic disco, Motown, and modern electronic production, ‘Men in Love’ is a ten-track collaborative concept LP exploring the emotional highs and lows of love, identity, and vulnerability. Welsh penned all lyrics, while The Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra provided music and production. The album’s lead single ‘A Man in Love with Love’ is out now.

The album will be released on vinyl, CD, and digital platforms, with both standard and limited orange vinyl editions available.

House music icon Louie Vega is set to auction a curated selection of personal items from his extensive archive via Wax Poetics, with bidding opening on May 27th, 2025.

This second installment of the Louie Vega Collection follows a successful debut drop in April and promises a deeper dive into his legacy. The auction will showcase rare test pressings, promo vinyl, studio gear, and personal memorabilia accumulated over his 40-year career.

Among the standout items is a one-of-ten Louie Vega Diamond Pendant, crafted from 14K white gold and embedded with 290 natural black and white diamonds, personally signed by Vega.

Other highlights include an Allen & Heath Xone V6 mixer used during global tours, and a Roland FP-8 keyboard featured in tracks like ‘Beautiful People.’ Collectors can also expect exclusive vinyl, including a Masters at Work remix of Simply Red’s ‘Thrill Me,’ and original studio artwork.

“These items have been a part of my creative journey, have traveled the world with me, and what all my fans have been a part of for all these years,” Vega shared. “They are a part of my legacy.”

Monolink has officially announced his third studio album, ‘The Beauty Of It All’, set for release on September 26th, 2025, via Berlin’s Embassy One. The LP features the latest single ‘Powerful Play’ and continues to expand his sonic signature—a blend of storytelling, rich textures, and dancefloor sensibility.

Known for his emotive fusion of live instrumentation, electronic textures, and introspective songwriting, the German artist’s new LP promises to be his most personal and profound project to date.

Following the success of ‘Amniotic’ (2018) and ‘Under Darkening Skies’ (2021), ‘The Beauty Of It All’ dives deep into themes of impermanence, human connection, and emotional contrast. Speaking about the album, Monolink shared: “For this album I went back to where it all began, to the countryside in Germany. Surrounded by nature and stillness. It turned into the most personal music I’ve made. A reflection of everything that’s brought me here. The beauty of joy, and of pain.”

Ibiza’s TRIP returns to Club Chinois this summer with a full season of Wednesday takeovers from June 25th through October 15th, 2025, plus two special Saturday editions on October 25th and November 1st. Curated by Johannes Goller, the series continues as one of the island’s longest-running and most anticipated underground residencies.

The 2025 lineup showcases diverse artists from the global house and techno scene. Headliners include Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear, Enzo Siragusa, Rhadoo, Raresh, Francesco Del Garda, and Paramida. The acclaimed trio Apollonia—Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, and Shonky—returns following their remarkable all-night-long set last season, with individual performances scheduled throughout summer.

TRIP continues its monthly Collisions x TRIP events led by Craig Richards and the Get-traum x TRIP series with Traumer. The residency welcomes newcomers Ryan Elliott, Ogazon, Peach, Midland, and Ivan Smagghe, while Ibiza local Hugo Martinez steps up as a first-time resident.

Eli Goldstein of Soul Clap has launched Future Sound of Nature (FSON), a new label co-founded with Colombian artist Lola Villa. The label’s mission is to connect electronic music with environmental consciousness. Their debut release is ‘Amazonía’, a new album by Villa.

‘Amazonía’ was recorded during a three-week stay with the indigenous Bora people of Peru and Colombia. Built around traditional Manguaré drums and rich field recordings of local birdlife, the album offers an immersive soundscape blending ancestral rhythms with modern electronics.

A portion of the proceeds from the album will go directly to the Bora communities, with 20% of all label profits pledged to preserving the ecosystems that inspired each release.

In addition to its music catalog, FSON will host an internet radio station from a permaculture greenhouse and continue to organize its two-day festival in New York’s Hudson Valley.

Spanish DJ & producer Dennis Cruz has announced the launch of his latest project, a new imprint and event series named BotaniQ.

The new project and platform were born from the fusion of nature and sound, reflecting the artist’s vision of pairing music with natural elements, not only through the records themselves but also through a series of global label events, with the first happening on May, 29th, 2025, at Amsterdam’s Lofi Courtyard.

“I’m excited to share this brand new concept to the world. BotaniQ is an idea that has no boundaries, meaning that I can showcase all the styles of music that I make, enjoy, and play without being restricted to genres. We’ll also bring this idea to the dancefloor, with events designed to focus on the music and people and avoiding unnecessary distractions,”  he commented.

BotaniQ’s debut, ‘Way Back,’ is a  groove-rich two-track EP, crafted for the dancefloor. Each one highlights Dennis’ deep and flowing energy — an ideal preview of the brand’s path to follow, as the label prepares for a series of selected releases from Cruz alongside a curated lineup of collaborators and guest artists in the coming months.
